Pain at Thumb and Wrist Region
I have to work in front of the computer a lot and I am experiencing pain near the thumb and wrist region . The pain increases when I wake up from sleep in the morning. Please suggest what I should  do.

Dear, Pain near your thumb and wrist is due to swelling of the tendons of thumb due to repetitive movement of thumb, that is in your case is computer typing.
Next Steps
- Hot fomentation -Ultrasonic therapy application - Use thumb spica splint, especially at night - Take anti inflammatory tablets such as Zerodol SP twice daily for 5days

You are getting pain due to tendon stretch over your thumb

kindly give breaks in between your work..hot water bag application two times a day atleast..use thumb spica splint according to your size...

This pain and swelling can arise due to swelling in one of the tendons that crosses your wrist to reach the base of thumb.. This usually happens with repetitive kind of work.. Do lots of icing and avoid repetitive activities of your thumb..

It's because of stress over your wrist.
Next Steps
use Heating pads and take frequent breaks from work. If these methods don't work them anti inflammatory tablets will be required.
