In your case, due to surgery, you may have to take it a little easy on physical activity part until your doctor gives you a green light for doing exercises. Until then, you can follow a healthy diet in controlled portion sizes to gradually reduce your weight. At your age and starting weight of 145 kgs, weight loss of 3-4 kgs a month is reasonable to expect with diet alone, but only for 4-5 months.
