As u said that ur case have stage IV ovarian cancer then advise from tata hospital is right. Cure of cancer depend directly on stage of carcinoma , stage IV ovarian cancer is in-curable. BUT in ur case u said that symptoms are not present except only neck node. So please send the MRI pelvis/ abdomen report,  Hb, TCL, DLC , S.UREA, CREATININE, LFT, label of CA-125 so I can evaluate the exact general condition of the pt.

Among your mother disease is in stage 4, the treatment option is chemotherapy if she can tolerate it. The tolerability of chemo will depend on patients age, ability to walk around or climb stairs without discomfort. The expected chance of surviving beyond 2 yrs may be around 20-40% even if she is without any problems now. Rarely, if God wills, she can win cancer.
