Oleanz usage
Female 61 yrs old was taking Oleanz 5 mg for one month under doctor advise. However dosage was missed for 9 days.. Kindly advise if it will have any side effects in future.

Abrubt discontinuation of antipsychotic s can cause some side effects,but considering low dose of Olanzapine,it is less likely to result into significant side effects,still better to consult treating Psychiatrist

No withdrawals symptom seen for abruptly stopping of 5mg oleanz.how ever chance of worsening of her behavioral distrubance can be possible. Hence keep a watch on her behaviors and if any changes noticed then immediately meet a psychiatrist

There is no side effect, on the other hand if patient was maintained on that dose,(for her illness)there is chances of relapse,so consult to your Psychiatrist

If the patient does not take medicine, it will not cause any side effects. I hope the patient is fine now and symptom free, if there are any symptoms, please show a doctor.
