Both contain the same ingredient, but Oleanz RT can be dissolved in liquids or mixed in solid foods as powder. This helps in giving it to patients who are unable or unwilling to take oral tablets in a routine manner.

Oleanz and Oleanz Rapitab both contain Olanzapine. The difference is the formula of the actual tablet. Oleanz Rapitab is orally disintegrating, that is it starts dissolving and getting absorbed as soon as the patient puts it in the mouth. If the patient has difficulty swallowing, or is known to just keep the tablet in mouth and not swallow, Oleanz Rapitab is better as it starts to dissolve in mouth itself.
Next Steps
In case of an elderly patient, Oleanz Rapitab may be more acceptable as they would have difficulty swallowing, but if the patient is able to swallow the tablet, efficacy wise it is similar.
Health Tips
Only take the above mentioned tablets if prescribed from a licensed medical practitioner.
