You need to under go an X-ray of cervical spine...to rule out any disc space reduction... you must go for some test like vitamin b 12 , calcium , vitamin d & iron ...if they are deficient in your body u need to take supplements....after that kindly consult a physiotherapist for further tx or an Orthopedic for an opinion... Upper limb nerve stretches Neck Exercises. Neck Stretching. Postural Correction. Shoulder Shrugs. Take frequent Breaks at work. Core Strengthening Exercises. Use cervical pillow. Use Back Support. Self Massage the back of neck.

Numbness can be due to many causes..very important to diagnose correctly.. Possible causes are Nerve pinching in neck Peripheral neuropathy especially in you have family history or diabetes. See a Neurologist if you dont have neck issues otherwise consult Orthopedic spine specialist. They will refer u to a Physiotherapist who can treat the same. Gud luck

Numbness in hands can be because of compression of nerve at wrist and u need to consult an orthopaedic surgeon for diagnosis. Emg NCV study can confirm the diagnosis.
