Nipt test for donor egg ivf
I wanted to ask that can NIPT test be performed in case of donor egg ivf case. Is it valid to perform nipt in donor eggcase? Is accuracy different in donor egg case as compared to the normal pregnancy case.

Yes it can be done. However, it can have more failure rates (test may not be able to give a result due to low fetal fraction) compared to normal pregnancy or normal ivf pregnancy. If the embryo transfer isn't done already then a pre implantation genetic testing (PGT) can be another option. Here testing is done on the embryo, so the chances of failure of the test is overcome. But even this test has its demerits like risk of damage to the embryo and falsely positive test.
