Nightmares
Is it normal to get nightmares after a stressful day, I tend to remember most of my dreams and I fear going back to sleep. In most of the dream I see a ghost like thing haunting me or someone trying to kill me or somebody I really care about.

Dreams has it’s own interpretation but it’s consistency and frequency matters. Getting bad dreams after a bad or stressful day at times is ok as during the entire day, individual doesn’t have tile to even think anything and everything is negative around. But if it’s frequent and consistent there must be something related to the same.

It's completely normal to have an occasional nightmare especially after a stressful day. You can contact a professional for help if your sleep is frequently disturbed for most part of the week and if this leaves you tired, fatigued or irritable the following day.
