Hi What you eating in the night not really affect our weight loss journey. And protein and carbs both are really important you can't neglect any one nutrient as all nutrients in our body have the different role everything is required in a proper amount. I would suggest you to lose weight in a healthy manner with the balanced diet in all the nutrients. I would suggest you to meet me for a one to one counselling session so that I can plan your  diet personalized way. For a while you can follow following weight loss tips which may help you to some extent but for proper result you need to follow up personalized plan 1) Drink Good amount of water. As drinking less water can lead to water retention which is one of the reason of weight gain. 2) Include fiber in your diet. For that you can eat lots of fruits and vegetables. 3) Do minimum 40 minute activity daily.As after 30 minutes our body enter fat burning zone. 4) Eat small & frequent meals. 5) You can include Green tea post lunch and post dinner. 6) Mind the portion size of whatever u eat,Don't overeat. Therr no such thing dieting You shou eat balance diet and with that regular exercise Depend on height weight how much calories you should eat and on that how much you should burn calories
