Hi, It seems like there might be some Postural issue. Stand in front of a mirror and check your posture to see whether your shoulders are in a straight line with each other. Also, keep a check on your posture while sitting and avoid one particular posture for a prolonged period. For the pain, heat therapy twice a day with normal neck movements. Incase further consult is required, kindly contact.

Is the onset of pain sudden or since long ? Though you would require a accurate diagnosis by a physiotherapist , you could consider giving cold pack followed by hot pack to manage your pain to certain level . Rework on your office / work station - ensure that your monitor is at your eye level , so forward bending / flexion of neck is avoided . Consider rolling a turkey towel and placing it under your neck and rest for half n hour . Further , manipulations , neck strengthening and kinesio taping are to be customised according to the diagnosis. Get assistance through a physiotherapist.

Ongoing neck issues are common with most desk based jobs. Posture correction and regular breaks are absolutely essential. See a physiotherapist to ascertain if the low back pain is related or the neck area is driving the imbalance at the lower end too.
Next Steps
check with a local physiotherapist
