with few details given about pain right shoulder upper side, there is a chance of trapezius muscle spasm ,acromioclavicular or shoulder strain,or it can be a neck related problem also. as the problem is present after persistent work for long time ,it could be a repititive motion disorder which is commonly caused by constant repititive strain on muscle. if that is the case, best solution is to have regular rest intervals after every hour.reduce the total amount of working time to half or less if possible.but dont strain yourself and aggravate your problem. remember that commonly, pain in shoulder and neck are caused by bad posture at work, continuous restless jobs, leading to physical stress. perform some shoulder girdle mobility exercises, self stretching exercises to neck and shoulder which can be obtained by consulting a physiotherapist. learn posture correction exercises and knowledge of what is a good posture at work,at home and during sleep.by consulting a physiotherapist at your nearest place. solution is in your hands................so wishing you speedy recovery.
