Nasal Polyps
I am having extra growth in my nose since the age of 10. Now I am 23 yrs old, I have sneezing problems every morning however it has reduced now but sometimes I have mild irritation in my nose and when I blow my nose it pains a little bit. I have tried many medicines but it would never go. My friends say that it would go if I take steam everyday, is it true or else will I need an operation. Please suggest some cure so I could avoid going for an operation

Consult a good ENT Specialist near you using the practo app. Microdebrider assisted nasal endoscopic surgery is a minimally invasive surgery that would be ideal to clear the nasal obstruction caused by the polyps which is followed by at least 3 years of regular intranasal corticosteroid spray therapy with regular follow-up outpatient visits to the ENT Specialist's clinic every 2 months to adjust the dosage according to your nasal needs is the ONLY way to get rid of this persistant problem. You may also need to consult an allergist for allergy tests to isolate the offending allergens causing this problem. This will help your ENT Specialist to heal you.
