I suddenly started with symptoms like congested nose and thick jelly like mucus, that too with blood initially which stopped coming after some time since past 3-4 days. I went to ent today, he put a thin endoscope kind of thing and said its nasal polyp. I am scared like why did it happen to me. I know he said it's not cancer but i am still worried that what if he diagnosed it wrong.. please guide me what to do. He gsve me some flomax spray. Will it reduce with that? I amm too scared and anxious :(

Hello..Nasal polyp is a benign condition and no need to be anxious about it.Response to spray depends on the extend of the disease and correct way of using it .Kindly watch a video on youtube on the correct way of administring nasal spray. If disease is extensive you might have to take oral steroids and only if that fails you'll have to get surgery done.
