Hello user, Our body is made of 3 important components Muscle, fat and water. The composition is seen after doing BCA( body composition analysis) Now to weight gain.. We have to check your BCA to learn whether to  increase essential fat or muscle mass. That is the right way to gain weight. With customized diet plan according to it. Hi, Weight is a sum total of Bone, Water, Muscle and fat. You need to gain muscle to get healthy .Have a well balanced diet. Eat 6-8 meals a day. Have carbohydrate and protein rich food combinations like Banana or Mango milkshake, Mix nuts and dryfruit chikkis, Soya or paneer veg rolls etc. Include high biological value proteins which are very well absorbed like- Milk, curd,Paneer, Meat,Fish,Eggs etc. Include essential fats like Almonds, walnuts, flaxseeds etc. Eat on waking up and do have a bed time meal like milk and light snack. Do not fast or overeat as this will not help. Sleep for 9-10 hours. Optimally hydrate yourself with water every hour.

Hi! Weight gain requires time and diet modifications like eating good quality proteins, healthy fats and also a bit of muscle building exercises. Being thin could be due to several medical reasons as well, and fast metabolism may only be a symptom of a medical condition which needs to be looked into. However, some people may have no medical conditions and eat normally, but it never shows any weight change - this could also be due to poor absorption and digestion which can be corrected through dietary management .
Next Steps
Eat small, frequent meals which are protein rich, do muscle building exercises or yoga, stay hydrated
Health Tips
Avoid over eating , forceful eating, NO eating oily/fried food to gain weight. Consult online on practo.com for further advice.
