My kid deducted with dengue
Hi sir/madam, My son report came as dengue positive but with 1.85 lak/Cumm. His body temperature is 98.7 and he just completed 48 hours of fever. What is next step to be taken . In report wBC also normal. I'm giving him liquids He is 2.7 years, 13 kg He is active Little eyes or red but no irritation. I have elder kid 5 years is it required to his test too actually he is fine.

  Syr ibugesic plus 3 ml three times a day after food for five to seven days. Augmentin duo suspension make it in syrup . To be given two times a day one teaspoon full 5 ml after food. Montek lc syrup 5 ml at night. Plenty of water n liquid lamonade buttermilk coconut water, ORS multiple times. Fruits add kiwi mausambi juice. N other fruits Light diet poha, upma idali,rice dal, curd rice curd poha. YET SUPERSPESIALIST ARE BEST FOR TOO LIL KID.

Treatment for dengue fever is supportive with paracetamol for fever and adequate amount of water including ORS and juices.Keep checking his CBC.He should be seen by a pediatrician in your area.As your elder son is asymptomatic , tests are not required.

Please get your child's blood tested for Dengue at a different Laboratory. The way the report is written is raising many doubts.

Have you shown to paediatrician? Are the eyes just congested or there are red patches inside eye. Dengue needs to be monitored very closely by a physician-paediatrician in your case.
