It's really hard to diagnose without seeing you. In general if you can put weight on the concerned leg usually bone is not broken but that still leaves possibility of ligament sprain. Best to consult an orthopaedician.
Well in this case most of us won't be able to help you in the given context with that information as this is not the place to consult for EMERGENCY SITUATIONS.
If your are able to put weight onto the leg (despite swelling) , Congrats, it's not a major fracture although if even applying ice pack for 20 minutes the swelling does not wean off it could be a chip fracture though X-ray is needed to confirm it. FURTHER, if you have swelling , apply cold pack and after few minutes(10-15 minutes) just try to move your ankle/leg if it feels a relief to you then congrats again as it is not a ligament injury. FURTHER , the pain is not reduced and feels like it has increased despite reduction in swelling , i 'm sorry to say it is a ligament injury and MRI has to be performed and pursue the next steps involved.
Next Steps
Visit an Emergency Room as soon as possible. As this is an Emergency situtation
Health Tips
