Consulting a doctor is always good when it comes to medicine But food and supplements go hand in hand, if you are not having balanced diet and not improving your lifestyle, its of no use. Rather try to manage your lifestyle first and if it doesn’t workout then inculcate supplements after having doctor’s opinion

Multivitamins and any supplements should be taken only after your Diet & Nutrition are in place. If you're not eating right, no multivitamin will help. And if you're eating right, you can then take the necessary dose of Vitamins only to supplement. Supplementation is best done under guidance.
Next Steps
Consider checking with your physician & Nutritionist

No I would suggest there is no need of taking multivitamin s . If you consume fruits and vitamins and whole grains daily they are the natural sources of multivitamins
