Moving teeth forward
I'm almost going to complete my braces treatment with extraction..but I am not happy with result...my teeth looking extremely retreated and shortened to almost half the  size...so can we move them forward without extraction gap?

get your OPG and lateral cephalgram done , get your photo and study models before starting and current, don’t get discouraged you just need a proper planning and fine execution it should be done

Yes you can move them forward as well can you pls attach your before & after pics of teeth & exactly what problem you were facing that you went for braces treatment as it will be helpful to guide you better .

Hello. I certainly understand your concerns. 1)You should be open with your orthodontist about your DESIRED RESULTS. As they have been treating you for the past few months then can explain you clearly the challenges they are facing and current situation. Based on your expectations your orthodontist will try there best to meet your expectations. 2)Shortened tooth could be beacuse of gum enlargement as during orthodontic treatment, if the oral hygiene is compromised, then it makes the tooth look shorter,and it can be reversed if this is the reason. Pic will be required for better suggestion.
