Mouth ulcer or aphthous ulcers occur due to multiple reasons ...as mentioned earlier ..It is due to stress in majority of instances ...Other causes includes sharp tooth ,vitamin deficiencies, acidity ,skipping meals ,allergies etc.Usually it's self limiting will go off on its own but do recur periodically .Only thing you can do is relax your self if there is stress...take Vitamin supplements ...apply local anaesthetic gels to sore area...if severe pain kindly consult a local dentist for further trt.All the best.
