As your baby is just 6.5 months old and it has just started with weaning foods, breast milk should still remain the main source of nutrition. Introducing fresh juices like mosambi juice is not recommended at this stage. Below are some reasons why it's not recommended: - Mosambi is a citrus fruits and it can irritate your baby's delicate stomach and may cause rashes, loose motions or acidity. - Juices generally provide very little fiber so begin with smooth purees such as mashed banana, stewed apple, rice cereal, vegetable purees or moong dal water. Gradually you can move to thicker texture as your baby grows. - Citrus fruits can be introduced after 9-10 months.

It is better to avoid fruit juices for a 6 month old. Give purees of fruits or cooked vegetables instead.

No, you should not give mosambi juice to a 6-month-old baby . pureed whole fruits are a better option. At 6 months, a baby's primary source of nutrition should be breast milk or formula, and introducing juices can increase the risk of digestive issues
Next Steps
start with whole fruit in pureed form like banana and apple

For a 6.5-month-old baby, it is better to avoid giving mosambi or any citrus juice right now. At this stage, the baby’s stomach and intestines are still delicate, and citrus fruits like mosambi can cause acidity or rashes. The ideal fluids remain breast milk or formula, along with soft, semi-solid foods such as mashed banana, rice, dal, and vegetable puree. If you still wish to introduce juice after 7 months, use only fresh mosambi juice that is well-strained and diluted with an equal amount of boiled and cooled water, in a 1:1 ratio. Give just 2 to 3 teaspoons to start and watch for loose motions or skin rash. Avoid bottled or packaged juices completely. Continue breastfeeding as the main source of nutrition. At 6.5 months, it’s best to focus on breast milk/formula and start with pureed fruits or vegetables. Fruit juices, including mosambi, are not recommended as they may cause acidity or diarrhea. If you still wish to offer, give only occasionally, well-diluted (1:2 juice to water), and not more than 30–40 ml. Continue exclusive breastfeeding/formula as the main source of nutrition. Introduce single-ingredient purees gradually. Avoid adding sugar or salt. Always offer fresh juice, never packaged ones. Discontinue if the baby shows any discomfort or loose stools.

Any fruit juice to 6 month old is not advisable. Its best to give fruit in mashed/ puree form, that too one fruit at a time. Do not mix two or more fruit as 6 month old is period of taste development. so slowly introduce fruits, vegetables separately (and one by one) in cooked-puree form. After baby adapts to the taste you can try combination of two things (vegetable or fruit- don't mix both) in small quantity. Remember, 1) be patient as its slow process in some infants. 2) single-ingredient purees first to help your baby get used to new flavors and to monitor for any allergic reactions. Wait for 3 days minimum before introducing another new food. 3) do not add more sugar and salt in early practice.

Hello , Greetings of the Day!!! • Avoid giving mosambi juice at 6.5 months as it may be too acidic for the baby’s stomach. • Offer only a few spoonfuls, well diluted in a 1:1 ratio with boiled and cooled water. • Add water in mosambi juice to dilute it before giving. • Prefer healthier and safer options like: • Mashed banana • Papaya puree • Steamed apple • Pear puree
