Missed abortion
Hi, I had missed abortion at 12 weeks pregnant, D and C done yesterday morning. May i know do's and don't s, when can i return to my job? Please response.

It's depends on type of your job. If it's something like sit and work.. you can join duty when you feel comfortable making sure all the medications to be taken as prescribed.

A 12 week pregnancy is a big pregnancy.  You may have bleeding for 4-5 days. You have to take antibiotics and painkillers for about 5 days. It is better to rest for five days . You should get your Hb level and "check sonography"  scan  (to be sure that the uterus is empty) before you join your duty.

As such no do's and don'ts. Take rest to allow your body to recover. Take iron and calcium supplements for 6 weeks.

You can return to your job whenever you are comfortable No rest period is mandatory Have a good protein rich diet
