Mirena inserted due to endometriosis
Hello, can the size of endometriosis cyst grow even after Mirena insertion( inserted two yrs back due to periods pain, have one baby)? Please check the usg report, is laproscopy surgery needed to remove 5cm endometriosis cyst on right ovary?

We don't know what was the status of the ovaries earlier on. Please monitor the ovaries size every 3 months by sonography. Whatever else it may be, Mirena is not the cause of the ovarian cyst.

Connect please. It needs discussion. Mirena does not cause shrinkage of endometrioma but it can prevent the endometrioma from growing big. Need of surgery depends on your pain symptoms or if you want further pregnancy.
