Hello Miss. Its important to understand that its okay to have some stress before the exams. Stress to an extent itself can act as a motivating factor. Exams are crucial but also act as the source of stress for most of the students. Hence it is important to approach them with a clear mind to avoid any anxiety. A mental discipline is a large part of what is needed to succeed in exams. But here are a few tips you can use: 1. Plan your study time. Anxiety results if you have too much material pending to be finished in too little time. Plan your studying with regularly scheduled study sessions separated by 10 minute breaks. 2. Believe in yourself. If you prepare for the exams properly you will do fine. 3. Try to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Give some time to exercise. Always use positive thoughts/beliefs instead of self-defeating thoughts. Avoid junk food and eat fresh fruits and a balanced diet. 4. Regular and adequate sleep. The mind needs to reboot itself every morning and hence needs a regular sleeping pattern. Compromising on sleep time will only hamper your ability to study and remember things before your exams. 5. Planning and setting targets. Try to rest well the night before the exam. Set some realistic targets before the exam date. Try to do as much is humanly possible. 6. Relaxation exercises. Give yourself 15-20 minutes twice daily and do relaxation exercises (Jacobson's relaxation technique). It helps in calming down the anxiety. All the best!
