Meniscus tear
I had fallen an year ago hitting my knee. A week ago I took an MRI and I have been diagnosed with vertical tear of the anterior horn of the lateral meniscus. I am 26 yr old female. Should I go for athroscopy or physiotherapy ?

Hi if you are symptomatic- with pain and locking- you can go for arthroscopic surgery. If not nothing needed - do quads exercises

U didn’t mention the grade of tear is it mild or moderate or severe in case if u lack laxity if the joint and stability then u need to prefer for surgery but u don’t think so in this younger age u can best go for Physiotherapy
