Meniscus & ACL Tear in the left knee
Hello Doctor, I m 26 years old, Male .have developed pain in my left knee(Knee locking problems)six months back and visited an ortho specialist in Mumbai. He told me that it could be a grade 1 meniscus tear and told to do some exercises after which pain subdued and knee locking stopped.Recently I had tripped on my left knee during running and when I visited an ortho surgeon in Bangalore.,He saw my MRI and also he did some tests on my knee .Then he told me that I need not worry about my knee and there might be minor tears. And surprisingly the pain has subdued for next 15 days. But again 3 days back I had to sit down with my legs folded for 4 hours at stretch and from then on I have been experiencing pain in my left knee while waking.MRI Reports read as 1) Longitudinal tear noted in medial meniscus. 2) Partial tear noted in ACL with minimal free fluid 3) Mild joint effusion noted. Kindly advise what should I do with these fluctuations in pain. And I no more have knee locking problems.

Hello sir, I think it is better to do diagnostic Arthroscopy and directly see the problem inside the knee joint as few tears cannot be detected in MRI.
Next Steps
diagnostic Arthroscopy
Health Tips
avoid sitting cross legged, squatting
