Father has lung cancer. Is it safe to have chemotherapy at this age. As such he is fit and fine. No pain nothing else only coughing at times.

Treating lung cancer is a multidisciplinary management. Lung cancer patients PET ct and status of mediastinal lymph nodes should be known prior. Early stage if fit go directly for Surgery than chemo. positive nodes get chemo initially later surgery. So planning is important and go according to that
