Yesterday I found a lump under my armpit, Don't know whether its a lump or just a bump,it has no pain as such, no itching or nothing but as I accidentally put Dettol over there today it felt slightly burning, what could it be, is it something serious, I read on Google sometimes lump under armpit could mean breast cancer; I'm worried please help

Do u have done self breast exam ?
Do u have found any nodule , lump ?
Is there any change in size and texture of nipple/ areola ? Or change in skin texture.
It can be early signs , including any watery discharge from nipples and should not ne ignored.

A lump under the armpit could be a Lipoma (consists fat), Lymph Node Swelling, or Tendonitis. There could also be some rarer reasons like sebaceous cyst or dermoid cyst.
Need not worry about breast cancer at this age. It commonly happens after 40 years. A lump only in the armpits and no detectable lumps in the breast is unlikely to be breast cancer.
