As a Spine Specialist, I see similar patients very commonly. Few days of lower back pain, without pain radiating to the legs , is nothing to worry about.
Some muscle relaxant and mild pain meds are usually sufficient and physical therapy in the form of local Short wave diathermy/ Interferential therapy helps. Any good physio centre should have it.
MOST IMPORTANT- once pain settles down, you need to start on BACK and CORE MUSCLE STRENGTHENING EXERCISES, TO PREVENT FUTURE EPISODES OF PAIN.
Next Steps
Please consult a Spine specialist to rule out any other condition that might need further assessment
Health Tips
Avoid sitting on the floor, long car drives / two wheeler riding and lifting heavy objects for next 2 weeks
