Kindly get checked with a doctor/orthopedic surgeon. Symptoms are not pointing to any single problem. You might have issue in the hip or may be related to musles/tendons.

Your symptoms could be due to lumbar nerve root irritation (sciatica), hip joint arthritis, or greater trochanteric bursitis/tendon inflammation. Pain over the outer side of the hip that worsens while lying on that side is commonly seen with trochanteric bursitis, whereas pain radiating from the back or buttock to the leg may suggest a lumbar spine problem. A clinical examination is required to identify the exact cause.
Next Steps
Please consult an Orthopaedic surgeon for a detailed examination. You may require X-rays of the hip and lumbosacral spine, and if nerve compression is suspected, an MRI of the lumbosacral spine may be advised. If you prefer, you can book an online consultation with me and share your symptoms and any previous X-rays or MRI reports for a detailed assessment and personalized treatment plan.
Health Tips
Until the cause is identified, avoid prolonged standing, excessive walking, heavy lifting, and sleeping directly on the painful side. Seek immediate medical attention if you develop leg weakness, numbness, or loss of bladder or bowel control.
