Lower back pain
Hi i am 21 years old, i have been facing lower back pain since 6 months. My MRI reports show that "there is a loss of lumbar lordosis, bulging disc between L4-L5 and L5-S1, and there is an annular tear in the disc too". I Have been doing many exercises like the McKinsey technique and other backward bending stretches. I dont feel any improvement and now its even hard to sit for few minutes without support, it is stopping me from playing sports and other regular work, please guide me with the dos and donts and other useful things so that we can chat privately ! Thank you

Hi...in my opinion first manage / reduce pain by improving your posture, modify lifestyle like avoid standing/ sitting for long time, sitting on low level or ground, lifting heavy wt. Go for low intensity exercise (as you are doing all exercise which is useful for slip Disc) once u feel better with pain start with stretching exercise n then strengthening of core muscle.

Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hi... Can you please elaborate me regarding the treatment you had taken... As McKenzie technique works really good for disc prolapse... If you can share your MRI report I will be in a better position to guide you.. I would like you to Do lot of icing in your back.. Do a bit of stretching in your gluteus...without bending your back.. Dont sit or bend forward as they would increase the pain... Even if you would like to sit...keep your back supported... Do lot of core stability exercises.. Revert back incase you need further clarification...
