Respected Sir /Ma'am,
I don't feel like eating anything sometimes, especially during my exams. I'm severely underweight.
I often feel weak. I was taking appetizer for sometimes but since it's antihistaminic (cyproheptadine) it has sedative effect too.
I have my exams going on so can't take it. Even i don't feel like eating Apple or anything sometimes. I hate eating pulses and I know I'm protein deficient too.
Kindly suggest ways so that I can improve my appetite naturally
Thanking you in anticipation for your cooperation

Hello, -Exercise daily for an hour -Include protein in your diet (taking protein rich foods post workout helps in muscle building) -Increase fiber in your diet (Will help you stay full) -Include fruits and vegetables in your diet (2-3 serving) -Take 5-6 meals a day. -Water intake of atleast 3L per day -Add healthy fat like nuts to your diet. -Avoid/Exclude fried, sugary and junk food -Eat a balanced and healthy diet -Do not skip breakfast as 40% of days energy is from breakfast, it will help in increasing metabolism and increase your appetite NOTE: The above mentioned practices can change according to a specific medical condition
Hallo,
You can choose appetizer without sedative effects like Sorbitol base syrup or peptone like hundreds of OTC medication available now a days. I used to prescribe it to my patients, you have to follow certain steps you know?
1. Increase your BMR, by Customised method of exercise,
2. Increase appetite by following 1no
3. Taking balanced diet & if required, take supplements which is having no side effects, mind it.
4. See your progress weekly basis for 3months.
