She is having calf pain after walking.. since last 6- 7 month , she is going for morning walk as well as doing half an hr. of exercise.. but pain is not recovering.

hope you u should be having associated back pain too. Calf pain may arise due to vascular congestion in varicose veins(thickened greenish or blackish veins prominently seen in calf mucles ),kindly check if you have such veins.also let me know if you have any other vascular problems.

if the vascular cause is ruled out then , it should be nerve compression in lumbar spine. you can proceed with phyisotherapy.INTERMITTENT PELVIC TRACTION with hip and knee in 90 degrees flexion (bent position) for 15 minutes with 12-15 kgs weight. INTERFERENTIAL THERAPY FOR calf region -15 minutres. Continue this for 10 days.

avoid lifting weights, avoid wearing high heels,use cushioned footwear,avoid cross legged sitting. AVOID THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: 1.coffee,tea 2.branded health drinks 3. White sugar and products made of white sugar like sweets, cakes, ice creams, bread, bun and all other bakery items 4. Maida products like samosa, puffs, parotta, naan etc 5.high carbohydrate food like potatoes, white rice 6, dairy products (packet milk, curd) 7.noodles,vermicelli, pasta, pizza. 8.NON VEGETARIAN FOOD INCLUDING EGGS INCLUDE HIGHLY ALKALINE FOOD .(LIST GIVEN BELOW) 1.wheatgrass juice, to be taken everyday in empty stomach in the morning. Any other food should be taken after an interval of half an hour. 2.vegetable soup (carrot, beetrot, beans, turnip, coriander, curry leaves, mint leaves) 5.spinach soup 6. Ashgourd juice (white pumpkin) 7.Banana pith (stem) juice. 8.Hand pounded unpolished rice. SUN BATH with loose fitting cotton clothes for five minutes between 7-7: 30 am in morning. get well soon
