Calf muscle pain
My calf muscle pains alot esp on days when I stand for long hrs. Or wear heel sandals. Sometimes I get restless leg also. The pain in calf only goes by massaging. I take vit d supplements also. Please letvme know the causes

As you have mentioned about the long hours standing and  wearing the heel sandals the underlying causes ( as asked) might be shortening of the calf muscles and the Achilles tendon irritation. The other cause could be varicose veins.

Do some stretches for calf. Take good amount of water. Deficiency of certain. minerals , vitamins also contribute to calf pain.

Due to overuse of muscles or deficiency of vitamins causes calf pain. you need to do exercises for this and twice a day icing will be helpfull. Consult with physical therapist to assess the condition for better treatment options.

Hey there! You need some pumping action done at your ankle joint for the circulation to be proper. This similar thing happens when you do massage. As massage proves helpful, this would also prove helpful. Stretching your calf would make your problem even better as calf muscles stay constantly in shortened position with your heels on or while standing. This causes pain as muscle property is likewise. It needs to be active for proper nourishment and working in simple words. When it's requirements is not fulfilled it pains, which is a signal that some action is required.

Calf muscles are called the second heart of our body they want to squeeze and pump blood to the heart If you are not taking proper care of your calf definitely pain will be there So kindly start some calf raise exercises stretching exercises and ankle toe movements If you want to stand long period of time kindly wear some compression shocks
