Left ankle twist hairline fracture
I twisted my ankle and visited a doctor, he mentioned it's undisplaced hairline fracture and asked to wear ankle binder and rest for 3 to 4 weeks but when I visited another doctor in my native he was telling bone is displaced and required operation so can you please confirm us whether it's really required operation or with cast and rest will heal ? Attached X-ray image.

From the X-ray images you shared, the fracture appears to be undisplaced or minimally displaced, which usually does not require surgery. In such cases, treatment with proper immobilization (cast or ankle brace) and strict rest is generally sufficient, and the bone heals well over 4–6 weeks. Surgery is typically advised only if there is clear displacement, joint surface involvement, instability, or worsening alignment, which does not seem obvious here. Differences in opinion can occur based on interpretation, but based on these images and your history, conservative treatment is reasonable a repeat X-ray after 10–14 days while in immobilization can help confirm that alignment remains stable
