Leave job for marriage
I'm asked by my parents to leave my job and move with my husband who stays abroad. I live all by myself. he lives in a country where I'm not allowed to work. My husband personally have no issues with me working in India as he is planning to shift here after 2years. I've always been career oriented person and can't think of a life in home all the time.

I don't think its a right decision to leave your job when your husband is planning to come back after a few years. I think you should try to explain this thing to them, if they are not listening to you then maybe you can ask your husband to explain them your circumstances, maybe they will listen to him.

If he has plans to shift think about leaving your whole career and going there just for 2 years... Doesn't make sense Consult with me or any psychologist for therapy and counseling in detail All the best

Instead of leaving your job, take some sabbatical and be with him for sometime and then come and continue your job.. As you had mentioned , if he has plans to come back to India, you both can travel as and when it is possible to be with each other.
