Knee pain left
My dad has severe knee pain attached MRI report of him. It seems like osteoarthritis he is under physio but its not working doctor advised to undergo arthroscopy can anyone help me with this?

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate your father in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or  metabolic disorder, if there is any. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Keep a  pillow under the knee. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. --. Fomentation with warm water. Early osteoarthritis of the knee. Kindly share standing weight bearing xrays of the knee. How frequently does the pain appear. What are the restrictions in daily routine. No indication for scopy. May benefit gradually with exercises. If not helping, there few more options. Kindly consult for the same.

There seems no indication for arthroscopy...kindly get weight bearing x-rays of knee joint.. In case you need further help... Can consult

It is just age related arthritis. Try conservative method like life style modifications, exercise and some supplements

Arthroscopy may not give any tangible results as there is arthritis of the knee. He needs to get X-rays of the knee in standing position to assess and plan further.

Hello How old is your dad and what are his exact complains ?please get a x ray of his knee done first. As per the Mri report there is no obvious indication for arthroscopy.
