Knee pain. Require 5 exercises to strengthen pl. Want to understand why I cannot do yoga . Which yoga poses to avoid. And why I have been told to keep knee at 70 instead of 90 by orthopedic. Thank you.

Quadriceps exercise Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation.

Knee pain greatly reduces the natural range of motion of the knee. So yoga will be difficult for u to perform because of the pain. As yoga involves constant bending of the knee and stretching, it should be avoided. Also, floor sitting should be avoided.

Visit physiotherapy clinic and get adviced properly which can be possible only through physical examination. avoid sitting or lying on floor, do kot stand for prolonged time, wear knee cap and hot water fermentation twice a day will help relax.

I would suggest that you see a physiotherapist. Too hard to suggest etiology or aggravating factors unless you have a consult and we examine the structures. There are 3 possible causes of injury. They follow a number of tests. Exercises and stretching are recommended based on tight and affected structures...
