Knee pain and sound
My sister(20 year) knee's sound like a elastic rubber band.Atfirst,the noise was once in a while.But later the sound was getting intense and frequent(whenever she climbs steps or sit or stand).Along with the sound,she is having lot of pain nowadays.Please suggest me some remedies.

Get a consultation for greater clarity. Till then, use a knee support. Apply warm water bags. Apply pain relief spray Avoid sitting on the floor, squatting or cross legged. Use a western toilet. Can start with mild strengthening exercises of the knee once pain reduces- refer to tutorials on YouTube. Consult if your issue continues.

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate your sister in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or  metabolic disorder, if there is any. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Keep a pillow under the knee. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. -- .Do mild exercises for the affected part.- back and lower limbs. --.(Take help of physiotherapist or you can visit my YouTube channel Dr. N. C.
