Knee ligament injury and Meniscus tear
Hello doctors, My husband met with an accident last week. He was advised to do an MRI and a CT scan, the report says knee ligament injury and Meniscus tear. He has to undergo two surgeries. May I know if the surgery has to be done immediately or take some time. What would be the recovery time post surgery. Please advise. Thank you.

Both the surgeries (procedure ) are done in same sitting , so basically it is 2 parts of the whole procedure that is needed to be done . Earlier done the better Recovery depends on the meniscus procedure that Is done wether repair or partial excision. The post op protocol depends on the type of procedure done on the knee.
Next Steps
Consult online with the reports.
