Kid cavity amoxicillin dosage
Kid had a deep cavity and filling was done couple of months back. From 2 weeks she is getting intermittent pain while bitting and sometimes while brushing .She had cold and fever and doctor said it might be due cold . He asked to wait until cold settles and if still pain persists then to give amoxicillin later will see whether to go for Root canal. Doctor is out of station and I missed the prescription of dosage . Kid :4 years Weight :12 kgs So wanted help with the ml?

250mg Amoxicillin twice a day or you can also give Augpen ds syrup (2 tblspoon twice a day)

Syp Amox 250mg 5ml BD can be given for 5 days

20-40 mg / kg 8 hrly = 250 mg you can give twice
