Hello,
Avoid eating for first 45 to 60 min after filling. Don't eat from the side the filling is done for next 24 hrs, avoid any bevarage that can cause staining, don't eat any sticky or gummy thing and don't chew hard substance.
When ever you had filling on tooth, avoid eating or drinking anything for one hour. Then avoid eating anything from that side for next 24 hours . Avoid eating anything sticky.
Stay safe n healthy
Greetings,
Hopefully if you had a small cavity then there shouldn't be any issues. Usually I recommend my patients not to eat or drink anything (except) water for the first hour after cavity filling (to prevent immediately staining or straining of the filling material) and chew lightly on the filling side for the first 24hr, after that no restrictions.
