In every case of Orthognathic surgery, 2 types of dentists are concerned. One is Orthodontist and other is a Maxillofacial surgeon. Taking your X-rays and impressions of both jaws, Orthodontist will decide upon the treatment ( along with surgery) to be performed and Maxillofacial surgeon will do the surgery. So, it is basically a team work.
