My jaw deviates to right side on opening mouth and it deviates to left side on closing mouth. I also listen a clicking sound from my right side of jaw during opening mouth. I feel my left jaw is much more mobile than that of my right jaw. I feel difficulty during opening mouth and difficulty in breathing during sleeping on my back. I feel my facial muscles are very tight and tired. I have also neck pain and back pain. So please tell me what should I do now and can you suggest any special exercise for this condition? Please help me.

Clicking sound indicates you might be suffering from TMJ problem ... start chewing sugarless gums on a regular basis as an exercise for your jaw . Also you might have to consult a sleep therapist for your problem in breathing during sleep . For difficulty in opening mouth ice cream stick exercises will help

Hi.. I think you are having an eruption of third molar ..,.. which causes pain and inflammation of the TemproMandibular Joint causing the deviation and pain and the clicking sound.. Get an X-RAY of the area called OpG and visit your dentist. It can be managed by some jaw exercise and extraction of Third Molar (if required).

Your symptoms are suggestive of a Tempero-Mandibular Joint(TM Joint) defect. I would advise you to visit an oromaxilofacial surgeon(OMFS) so that you can be examined and undergo investigations such as X-ray, CT to find the underlying cause of the problem and have it treated accordingly. You would require smooth muscle relaxants, anatcids, etc.

These are signs of TM joint pathology, secondary to abnormal functional occlusion. Get this evaluated from Orthodontists who practice TMJ orthopaedics. You may have to undergo splint therapy followed by restorative of normal functional occlusion.
Next Steps
thorough evaluation of clinical symptoms by a specialist (orthodontist) . diagnostic records including TMJ CBCT, facebow transfer record and mounting of your models in centric. preparation of permissive splint to ease the joint symptoms and recapture the disc. Once TMJ stabilizes , occlusal rehab with equilibration / restoration / orthodontics.
