It may be due to 3 rd molar impaction...
full mouth x-ray(OPG) is necessary to identify the cause...
If it is due to wisdom teeth , you need to go for surgical removal followed by analgesics and antibiotics....
it may also due to salivary gland infection(Parotitis) â¦
complete clinical and radiological examination is necessary to rule out the cause
