Issue with the wisdom tooth removal
Hi, I have attached one xray before surgery and after. I went to a doctor who has advised me to remove the wisdom teeth. He has told me its an easy one, hardly will take 30 mins. But after 4 hrs and multiple anesthesia injections and making multiple cuts all over the mouth he couldn't remove it. He told me x ray is not showing a correct picture, its very deep. He advised leave it for a month and if there is a problem we will try extracting then. There is a risk of touching a nerve in the jaw which might make it numb for a very long time. Please advise what needs to be done. Is it ok to leave it like that. Is it really hard to extract it. Thanks Sandeep

My opinion is that you should listen to your dentist,,if the tooth pains in future,,then you should see an oral and maxillofacial surgeon,,it is close to the mandibular nerve.
