Ischemic stroke and hyperunicemia
My mom suffered an ischemic stroke and has hyperuricemia. Despite taking her daily prescribed medications, she is experiencing severe weakness, a heavy head with headaches, and intense dizziness that prevents her from standing or walking. She is also suffering from an active gout flare and ongoing leg pain. She curently under nuerology treatment, the swollen leg is reduce, but seem like not helping much it's been 3 month, her toe still has pain sometimes it goes, I don't know whether I should see another specialist for hyperunicemia or Internal Medicine specialist .I want a doctor that can safely adjust her medications to relieve the dizziness and provide a stroke-safe treatment for her gout flare
