You could have attached the xray along with your query so that it would have been easy to assess if the plaster is wrong or right. The foot position is kept depending on the type and location of Fracture.
Next Steps
Attach the xray of foot

Hello, It would be helpful if you share the xray of the fracture, to understand better the type of the fracture. But, usually the angle of the foot and ankle should be 90 degrees.

If you are unable to put your foot on the floor after the synthetic plaster has been applied, it could be an indication that the cast is too tight or it may not have been applied correctly. It's important to have the cast checked by a doctor or a specialist to determine whether the cast needs to be adjusted or redone. In the meantime, keep your foot elevated and avoid putting weight on it until you can have it properly evaluated. If you experience any pain, swelling, or numbness, contact your doctor immediately as it could be a sign of a more serious complication.
