Is my sugar level normal or not
Hi.im breastfeeding mom...I had gestational diabetes and took medicine..after delivery it's completely normal ...but now(4 months of delivery) I have fasting glucose 110 and after meal 151 ..is it normal level or not...suppose it's not a normal range shall I consume any tablet to control the levels or control in diets and exercise

Normal Fasting blood sugar Level ranges from 90-110mg/dl Post prandial usually checked 1:30hrs to 2 hrs should be ideally less than 140mg/dl You are diagnosed as diabetic When Random blood sugar level during anytime of day more than 200mg/dl , or HBA1c more than 6.0% You are feeding mother with PPBS slightly elevated It can be well controlled by Diet with High protein with 1g/kg of your body weight and good fibre And physical activity of 30-45 mins per day No need for medications now But monitor your sugar level periodically like weekly once

This falls in pre diabetes You need to control your weight Do walk after every meal And restrict sugar intake No need for any medication as of now

Hi., I can understand your concern. Check for hba1c. It can be controlled with proper diet and low dose medicine. Eat balanced diet. Avoid outside foods Make yourself comfortable, do yoga for relaxation.
