Gestational diabetes 35 weeks pregnant
Hii doctor i was diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 30th week of pregnancy since then iam on medication taking( sugatab 500mg )post lunch everyday. But fasting sugar readings are always normal. But post lunch & dinner sometimes it shows normal range & sometimes it shows high range like (150 - 180). So my gynecologist suggested me to meet endocrinologist fr insulin intake. So i need a suggestion weather i should opt fr insulin. Or shall i take sugatab 500mg twice a day which iam taking only once a day. As iam nearing my due date. Iam Following diet & walking fr half an hour everyday past few weeks. Plz advice pics are attached fr ur reference.

You have to take slow walks after every meal 10 mins, that will help to reduce sugar spike. Also what you eat iş important As I see when you have taken rice and paratha the sugar spike is more Avoid those and take millets, lentils, pulses, vegetable salad. These measures will well control your sugar values.
