Iron deficiency anemia
Is IV maltacor injection with 50 mg iron good for iron deficiency anemia and dose for hb 10 and low iron also I have attached the report and I'm worried about iron overload and what dose to take to prevent overload

Hello, I understand your concern. But you are having Iron deficiency anemia. Get peripheral smear and retic counts done. Dont worry about iron overload now, take iv iron and check your hb ,sr.ferritin and retic count after 2 weeks. Take food rich in iron such as spinach, dry fruits like pistachios and a proper balanced diet.if any doubts feel free to connect. Stay healthy!

Ex : 60kg with same Hb = require more than 800mg of iron
